Because plot called for it, Archer gets summoned by Rin and Sakura at least eleven years before 5th Holy Grail War. Makes sense, insofar as they probably didn't have any catalyst.
You can either accept it and enjoy this book, or get an aneurysm while trying to piece it together with everything you already knew. The choice is yours.
