Junjo Romantica Chapter 100.31 06-18 21:47
Junjou Romantica: Takahashi Misaki is suddenly having some unexpected and odd problems. What started as a need for some college entrance exam tutoring has somehow led him to being romanced by a suave older man who also happens to be his big brother’s best friend. Confused by all of his brand new emotions, Misaki struggles to deal with his suddenly very odd life. And if that wasn’t enough, his suitor, Usami Akihiko, has plenty of issues of his own. A man-child who decorates his room in giant teddy bears and toys, Usami is a famous novelist who also writes steamy boys’ love novels on the side. When Misaki cracks open one of these books and reads sentences like “Usami licks every inch of Misaki’s hot body”…well, let’s just say that all hell breaks loose.
Junjou Egoist: Kamijou Hiroki is a broken man, consumed by unrequited love for his childhood friend, Usami Akihiko (the boys' love novelist). Along comes Kusama Nowaki, whose name "Nowaki" means "typhoon", an orphan working his way through life since middle school. Like the typhoon he is named for, he whirls into Hiroki's life and heart, blowing all resistance away before him.
Junjou Terrorist: As fate would have, Miyagi You (the professor that Kamijou Hiroki works for as an assistant professor) and Takatsuki Shinobu, Miyagi’s boss’ son AND his ex-wife’s younger brother, would cross paths. Shinobu, who says whatever’s on his mind, tries to break into Miyagi’s world, saying things like, “its destiny!” While the 18 year-old tries to invade Miyagi’s world, the 35 year-old still harbors a deep-rooted love for his late teacher. Being the Terrorist he is, Shinobu breaks down the walls that Miyagi has caged himself in, dramatically changing the Professor’s heart and demanding Miyagi take responsibility and face destiny…
Junjou Minimum tells the story of Usami and Hiroki's past, showing how they met and how Hiroki's un-requited love came to be. There are also a chapters about Misaki's past.
There is also a short 4 chapter story entitled Junjou Mistake/Mystique. This is set 10 years before the beginning of the other stories and follows Ryūichirō Isaka (the executive director of Marukawa Publishing Company- which publishes Usami Akihiko’s works) and his secretary, Kaoru Asahina. The two were playmates when they were young, after Ryūichirō's father took the Asahina's in and employed them. Over the years, Ryūichirō came to love Asahina, but he believes it to be in vain as he is convinced Kaoru is in love with his father. Unbeknownst to Isaka, Asahina harbors feelings for him in return.
This story is consisted of three primary stories:
Junjo Romantica
Junjo Egoist
and Junjo Terrorist

SERIES 6: Stone Ocean
Time: Early 21st Century -- Place: A Florida prison
Set in and around the maximum-security Green Dolphin Street prison in Florida, surrounded by palm trees, swamps, and man-eating alligators, this storyline stars Jolyne Kujo (Stand: Stone Free), the daughter of Jotaro Kujo. After being falsely accused of a hit-and-run automobile accident, she is sentenced to 15 years in jail, a plot which may be orchestrated by some dark conspiracy, some unknown enemy.
Series 6 is a weird prison story in which Jolyne discovers her own powers and other Stand Users while trying to escape the pen. Her dad Jotaro Kujo returns for a cameo in the first few volumes, and Dio, the ultra-villain of the JoJo series, also shows up in several flashbacks, with a fragment of his corpse playing a major plot point.
This series appears to be an attempt for Araki to relaunch the series for new readers (the graphic novels are numbered starting with "Vol. 1" with "JoJo Vol. 64", and so forth, in small letters) by re-explaining the Stands and introducing a slinky, appealing female protagonist. And for the most part, it takes place within a literally confined environment -- Araki had previously done some short manga stories set in jail, so maybe that's where his current interests lie.
Jolyne is the first American (specifically Japanese-American) JoJo protagonist. The sheer level of weirdness is also pretty mind-boggling, with all kinds of bizarre phenomena -- rains of frogs, time distortion, and some extremely odd, conceptual Stands. And the ending is probably one of the strangest things ever to happen in the series. Show less
