Assistant cameraman Osaka Kippei is one day invited to a cosplay event by his coworker where he meets the most handsome man he has ever seen: Ichinose Makoto. And through twists and turns they become friends.
In reality, however, Kippei is mistakenly thinking Makoto is man and Makoto, trying to avoid disappointing Kippei and losing him, is doing her best to act like a man for him.
